Breadfruit salad is a popular dish here in St Lucia because it tastes so nice…and it’s good for your body.

It’s a naturally low-fat food that is high in protein and vital nutrients.

2 T olive oil

3 green onions (chopped)

2 garlic cloves (grated)

1/2 t cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper to taste

In addition to being high in protein, breadfruit contains a significant amount of polyunsaturated fat (which is very healthy) and amino acids which can’t be produced by the human body.

There is less than one gram of fat in a cup of breadfruit, making this a naturally low-fat food which makes it a good choice for energy without the weight gain.

Another great recipe will come next week! So be watching your inbox next Thursday. 🙂

Stay safe and enjoy your journey.
